We’re glad you’re here

Get into it.

Tinkery is about getting hands on and jumping in.

Our mission is to make things, repair stuff, and inspire others who appreciate craft or want to develop their own skills.

Whether we’re building for ourselves, taking on commissioned work, or just spending time in the shop, we’re happy to share with you.

Classes & workshops

What’s better than creating beautiful wood, metal and handmade things? Doing it together. We run workshops for families, groups and scout troops.

Tools & reviews

The right tool makes any task easier. We only review tools we actually use — what we like, what we don’t, and where to buy them.

Workshops

Build something you’ll be proud of for years

Pick one of our workshops or ask us to build a custom one for your group. Everything is hands-on: you leave with the thing you made and the skills you used to make it.

  • Build-a-Bench — three days, five styles, your choice of wood
  • Parent & Me Birdhouse Builders — design, build and decorate together
  • Pinewood Derby — bring the troop and their kits
  • Gaming Dice Tower — roll a natural 20 for initiative
